Begin With the Fall Group
The $185 one-time enrollment includes six Sunday classes plus activation, a Shaolin Life T-shirt, and shipping. Students ages 6–14 receive welcoming small-group instruction and a clear path through the fundamentals of Kung Fu.

Designed for elementary and middle-school-aged children, with instruction adapted for different ages and experience levels.
Beginner-Friendly
Students begin together with foundational movement, mindful focus, respectful partner practice, and age-appropriate conditioning.

Does my child need martial arts experience?
No. The program welcomes beginners, and skills are introduced progressively so each child can build a strong foundation.
What ages do you serve?
This Youth Kung Fu session is for children ages 6–14. Instruction will be adapted so younger and older students can progress safely and confidently.
Is Kung Fu training safe for children?
Classes emphasize control, awareness, respectful partner practice, and age-appropriate progression.
What should my child wear?
Until their Shaolin Life shirt arrives, children should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows easy movement. Once they receive their shirt, the class uniform is required for every session.
When do Fall classes begin?
The first Fall class is Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 1:30–2:30 PM Pacific at 1244 23rd Ave in Oakland. Enroll by August 16 so your child can begin with the group. Registered families will receive orientation details and what to bring before the first session.
