WE NEED YOU!
Preserve Deep Root: A Call To The Community
For nearly twenty years, Deep Root Center for Spiritual Studies has served as a place where people come to practice, breathe, move, meditate, heal, and begin again. Through Qigong, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, meditation, wellness education, cultural arts, and personal development, this center has offered something increasingly rare: a place to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate strength from the inside out.

There are moments in the life of a community when we are asked to remember what we are really protecting.
Not just a building.
Not just a piece of land.
Not just a schedule of classes, programs, or events.
We are protecting a living tradition.
Now Deep Root is facing an emergency moment.
We are working to raise the funds needed to protect the land connected to this tradition and preserve the foundation that allows this work to continue.
This is a call to the community.
If you have ever trained here, practiced here, sat in stillness here, danced here, brought your family here, read our words, attended a workshop, joined an event, or simply believed in the importance of this work, we are asking you to stand with us now.
Deep Root has never been only about one person. It has always been about the circle of people who help carry the teachings forward.
Every person who shows up to practice helps preserve the tradition.
Every person who shares the work helps preserve the tradition.
Every person who gives what they can helps preserve the tradition.
Every person who opens a door, makes a connection, or begins a conversation helps preserve the tradition.
What We Are Preserving
We are preserving a place where ancient practices continue to serve modern lives.
We are preserving a place where martial arts are not separated from healing, discipline is not separated from compassion, and spiritual study is not separated from the everyday challenges of being human.
We are preserving a place where children, adults, elders, seekers, artists, and working people can engage with practices that help them become more grounded, aware, resilient, and connected.
We are preserving a place where tradition is not locked in the past. It is lived, practiced, shared, questioned, embodied, and passed forward.
That is what Deep Root means.
That is what is worth protecting.
How You Can Help
The most immediate way to help is to make a donation to the emergency campaign.
No gift is too small. Every contribution helps.
You can also help by sharing the campaign with people who care about community wellness, meditation, martial arts, cultural preservation, spiritual study, youth development, and healing spaces.
And if you are in a position to discuss a leadership gift, donor-advised fund recommendation, foundation partnership, matching gift, or other significant form of support, we would be honored to speak with you.
This is not only a fundraising campaign.
It is an invitation to help preserve the roots so the branches can continue to grow.
The Roots Are Alive
When We Care For Them
A tradition survives because people choose to carry it.
A temple survives because people choose to protect it.
A community survives because people remember that they belong to one another.
Deep Root has been a place of practice, refuge, discipline, learning, laughter, healing, and transformation for nearly twenty years. We are now asking for your help to ensure this work continues.
Please give if you can.
Please share if you can.
Please reach out if you can help open a larger door.
Together, we can preserve Deep Root.
Together, we can protect the living tradition.
With gratitude,
Master Sheldon
Executive Director
