2023: A Year In Review
Dec 29, 2023Returned to the Temple
We have returned to our Temple after a long break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It's time to continue the amazing work we've been doing while remote. Our home has high ceilings, top-of-the-line training equipment, and the perfect ambiance to help us achieve our goals. Join us in our mission to take our skills to the next level and make the most of our time together.
Hybrid Classes
Experience the best of both worlds with our in-person classes that now offer remote options. You can join us in the classroom while enjoying the benefits of face-to-face interaction with our instructors and fellow students, or you can join from the comfort of your own home. Either way, you'll receive the same high-quality education that we're known for. Don't let distance hold you back from achieving your goals. Sign up now and start your journey with us today.
Temple Beautification
Our students and staff worked hard to make our temple look and feel good. They generously donated cleaning supplies, plants, and their time and energy to restore our place.
Raised-ing Money
Welcome back to our Temple! Our return was not without challenges. However, with the support of our students, teachers, friends, and family members, we managed to acquire new equipment and clean up our premises for our new hybrid classes. But we're not done yet. We still need your help to achieve our fundraising goal for our beautification project. Every little contribution counts, and your support of our non-profit organization would make a significant impact. Plus, it's tax-deductible, so it's a win-win for everyone. Join us in making our Temple a better place for all.
1st Day Retreat: Herbs Qigong and Hula
We recently had our first-ever Day Retreat, called "Herbs, Qigong, and Hula." We escaped the city for a day of rejuvenation in the peaceful Redwoods of Oakland, California. The retreat was both fun, soothing, and informative. Learning about all the herbs growing in our backyard and connecting to ourselves through Qigong and the land through Hula was amazing. We will definitely do it again!
Dynamic Mobility
We are pleased to announce a new class that aims to improve your range of motion, flexibility, and overall mobility. Dynamic Mobility can help prevent injuries, boost physical activity performance, and enhance flexibility and movement. In this class, you will learn specific movements and stretches that are designed to target areas of the body that may be tight or restricted. These include dynamic stretching through relaxation, foam rolling, and joint mobilization exercises. This class is perfect for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals who wish to maintain or improve their physical abilities.
Unified Class Passes
If you need a variety of classes and flexibility, we have now unified all 5-10-20 class passes to work for any class we offer at the center.
Launched Move Website
We have launched www.move-spirit.org in order to make our dance program more visible and easier to find. Our program is expanding, and we believe it deserves its spot in the limelight. We encourage all dance enthusiasts to head to our website and stay up to date with all things dance on our blog.
